Rachel Maddow reported last night that a huge duck farm on Long Island detected H5N1 and has to destroy their entire flock of thousands of ducks. This disruption of the flow of public health information is very dangerous.

Science Magazine reports that Trump froze meetings, communication, travel, and hiring at NIH and researchers are feeling "a lot of uncertainty, fear, and panic." Looking close to my home, the University of Iowa received $190 million from NIH for research just last year.
